Situated in the heart of Port Louis, Lambic is Mauritius first gastro-pub and beer shop. We are located in a renovated colonial house where local craftsmanship is put forward. The colonial architecture has been preserved and is host to an array of local produce beautifully paired with some of the best beers in the world. Deer cooked with Belgian St. Bernardus abbey beer, wild boar roasted with red fruits beer - Red Bocq, as well as fish and mussels with wheat beer - Hoegaarden. We also have Angus steak. Our salads proudly sport 5 varieties of local lettuces, and our fish and game meat come from Black River region. Our drinks menu holds amongst others, 130 imported beers, 46 whiskies and some 43 teas from Sri Lanka. Expect to find classics such as all 7 Trappist beers*, international lagers such as Foster's, Corona, Budweiser... lambic beers such as Lindemans, Chapeau, St. Louis... and much more. * Westvleterren is only on exhibition since the Abbey forbids resale of its beers. But don't worry, your beer hunter brought back a selection of St. Bernardus as replacement. St. Bernardus used to brew Westvleterren beers in the past, and uses the same recipe, the same brewing technique, and of course the same water. |
